LEARNING SUPPORT MENTOR

PERMANENT, FULL TIME
TERM TIME ONLY
Hours of work: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (with a 45-minute lunch break) term time only. Some evening work may be required.
SALARY: Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine - S5 £24,191 - S6 £24,575 per annum pro rata (Actual £21,058 - £21,393 per annum)


Purpose of the Position

As a Learning Support Mentor, you will support students with a range of learning, physical and emotional needs to help them achieve their full potential. Learning Support Mentors may provide support both in and outside of the classroom; on a 1:1 basis or in small groups; in specific curriculum areas, or through more general support provided by the Learning Support Department.

You will be committed to making a positive difference in students’ lives and in supporting and developing their learning. You will have strong attention to detail and a passion for helping students achieve excellence.
