The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our thriving Maths department. You will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons to A-level students and helping them achieve their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators looking to make a real impact in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching across A-level Maths, and further Maths
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum and exam board requirements
- Assess, track and report on student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Support students' academic and personal development through mentoring and guidance
- Participate in College activities, including staff meetings, training and open days/evenings
About You
- Qualified teacher status (QTS), or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, with experience teaching A-level Maths (desirable)
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to College life
